Changing Perspective is a body of work exploring emotional and visual differences in contrasting surroundings that I have lived in. Having returned from Budapest, Hungary after 15 years to the far north coast of NSW, where I lived as a teenager, I found the natural beauty and tranquility provided inspiration to contemplate my changed visual influences. In part this is a personal journey. It is also representative of our experiences as we travel our world, changing our notions of home. With these images I explore a sense of understanding, belonging and familiarity in my environment – wherever that may be.
